Post 214 Lebanon, ME will be having a "Witness to History Event"

Post 214 in Lebanon, ME is have a "Witness to History Event" on Saturday June 26th from 1 - 3 PM.
This year they are honoring all of our Korean war Veterans as this is the 60th anniversary of the start of the Korean War.

There will be representatives from Susan Collins Office and Senator Snowe's top aide Peter Morin. They will be presenting the Korean Veterans a very special commendation and letters. The Flag Ladies of Freeport Maine recognized by President and Barbara Bush and the Governor. The museum coordinator from Portland will have weapons displays, transportation displays and during the whole event, there will be Korean War reenactors walking through the audience.

The Messabisic ROTC Color guard will be presenting the colors. The National Anthem will be sung.

Any Veteran knows that they were known as the "forgotten war" and we are not going to let them be forgotten any longer.
